I love how you did these pictures - I am so frustrated with trying to get pics to look nice on my blog! So I just put them up there any old way. But these looks REALLY nice! And the banana bread looks super tasty. I wish I could stop by for a slice with a cup of tea. :)

OK, I have to comment, I so enjoy reading your blog J.Rube. I read every day during my lunch break and go from being horrified (think mink), to inspired (think parenting 101 and everything the little Rubes do and how you describe them - not to mention your tribute to B.Rube), to intrigued at times (think Humpday). You are a fabulous writer and not only do you make me think, but you crack me up!

MamaT.

I'll be checking in again tomorrow - acutally so will PapaB, he so looks forward to Wednesdays (think tongue piercing - ouch!).

Hey Mama T!! Thanks! :o)
(really - your comment just made my day.)
I think I know who you are and I didn't realize that PapaB had his tongue pierced..... hmmmmmm
So, did he go for the vibrating piercing then???? lucky girl

Actually, PapaB recently asked me if I'd ever considered tongue piercing (he was likely referring to one of your more interesting products!). Maybe I'll see if he would consider it - LOL, really, I can't imagine - hmmmmm, maybe I can...

I thought I was the only MamaT, but there are 2 - and both with PapaB's, you'll have to guess which one I am!

Oh, damn, you're right!!!
Now, I'm not so sure at all. I was actually thinking about the other Mama, I think, but I should've clued in with PapaB's interest in Wednesdays. I was aware of that, and also that he doesn't have a tongue piercing.
Yes, I think that little thing would be quite magical, don't you?

What if all the papa's showed up with pierced tongues the next time you saw them! What a laugh that would be!Being a guy i would never thought of it from that angle.I bet you would sell alot more of that product if you advertised it that way!
